Take a moment to read and understand our terms and conditions before booking. We’re happy to answer any questions.

All bookings or services are made with Dipaways Group LLC or its affiliates, partners, or subsidiaries, as applicable. Throughout these terms, “we,” “our,” “us,” or “the company” refers to Dipaways. By booking or using our services, you agree to all terms and conditions.

1. Inclusivity & Mutual Respect

  • We believe travel is for everyone. At Dipaways, we celebrate people of all backgrounds, identities, and abilities.
  • We commit to making you feel safe, respected, and valued. We will make every effort to accommodate special requests. If we cannot fully meet certain needs, we will communicate this openly and kindly.
  • By booking with us, you agree to embrace an inclusive and respectful mindset, creating a welcoming space for all.

2. Booking Requirements

  • Group Trips: For travelers 21+ years old.
  • Private Vacations: Open to friends, families, or groups (no age limits).

3. Respect for Local Laws & Conduct

  • Travelers must follow laws, customs, and regulations of all destinations.
  • Travelers must show respect for local communities, cultures, and fellow guests.
  • If a traveler violates laws, causes harm, or disrupts the trip, Dipaways may dismiss them immediately without refund.
  • Any costs or arrangements to return home will be the traveler’s responsibility.

4. Passport & Travel Requirements

  • Passports must be valid for at least six (6) months after your trip.
  • Travelers are responsible for securing any required visas or entry documents.
  • Dipaways is not responsible if you are denied entry due to missing or incorrect documents.

5. Trip Inclusions & Exclusions

  • Specific inclusions and exclusions are detailed on your proposal, booking page, or final trip documents.
  • Generally, Dipaways trips include:
    • Luxe accommodations
    • Ground transportation (including airport transfers)
    • Activities, meals, local guides/hosts
    • A professional photographer
  • Flights are not included, unless specifically stated.

6. Booking Flights

  • Flights may be arranged by Dipaways upon request for an added cost).
  • Some experiences include domestic or in-country flights within the itinerary. These are:
    • Non-refundable
    • Subject to the airline’s terms and conditions
  • Dipaways is not responsible for:
    • Flight changes, cancellations, delays, baggage issues
    • Refunds or rebookings (must be handled directly with the airline/partner)
  • All flights are booked through third-party carriers/partners (e.g., IATA, Centrav).

7. Supporting Underserved Communities

  • Dipaways partners with underserved and underrepresented communities at destinations.
  • These interactions may be raw, authentic, and unpredictable.
  • By booking, you acknowledge and accept these experiences may differ from conventional tourism.

8. Communication & Traveler Care

  • Dipaways prioritizes communications for the soonest departures first.
  • Expect updates primarily via email.
  • Full trip details are typically shared 3–6 months before departure, however, may vary from trip to trip.
  • During travel, we provide support by email, phone, messaging apps, or in person.
  • Response times may vary depending on location, staffing, and operational needs.

9. Health, Safety & Medical Emergencies

  • We follow national and international guidelines to support your safety.
  • Travelers are responsible for their own health choices and precautions.
  • By booking, you acknowledge travel involves exposure to different environments and risks.
  • In case of medical emergency:
    • You authorize Dipaways or its partners to consent to recommended treatment if you cannot.
    • All medical costs are your responsibility.
  • Comprehensive travel health insurance is strongly recommended.

10. Payments

  • Flexible payment options are available:
    • Pay in full at booking.
    • Automatic monthly payment plan.
    • “Pay As You Want” option with final balance due 90 days before departure.
    • Financing via Affirm (subject to Affirm’s terms).
  • Overpayments: refundable or convertible to travel credit (minus fees).
  • Failed/late payments: may result in cancellation and forfeited funds.
  • Payments are securely processed via Stripe (or other processors as needed).

11. Trip Upgrades & Additional Services

  • Enhancements may include accommodations, activities, or itinerary changes.
  • Larger changes (e.g., custom flights, new dates) are treated as Trip Changes & Upgrades with custom quotes.
  • Quotes may require immediate payment and are subject to availability.
  • All upgrades are subject to the same cancellation policies as the original package.

12. Travel Insurance / Protection

  • Strongly recommended within 72 hours of booking.
  • “Cancel for Any Reason” (CFAR) is advised for maximum flexibility.
  • Insurance may cover:
    • Pre-trip cancellations
    • Emergency medical expenses
    • Trip delays, evacuations, or interruptions
    • Lost baggage
  • Dipaways may resell policies but is not responsible for claims/coverage decisions.

13. VIP Guests & High-Level Experiences

  • We host VIPs, public figures, and guests requiring discretion.
  • Confidentiality and privacy are priorities at all stages.
  • Custom itineraries, private accommodations, and enhanced security are available on request.
  • While we take every measure to protect privacy, no system is fully immune to risk.

14. Personal Charges

  • Guests are responsible for personal charges, including:
    • Room service
    • Property damage
    • Bar/restaurant tabs
  • Dipaways reserves the right to charge your payment method to settle balances.

15. Trip Hosts (In-Person & Remote)

  • Depending on the trip, hosts may be:
    • In-person (on the ground daily)
    • Remote (coordinating logistics from afar)
  • Dipaways may change host format at any time based on operational needs.

16. Optional Activities

  • Participation is always optional.
  • For activities not arranged by Dipaways, your contract is directly with the provider.
  • Dipaways is not liable for third-party activity issues.

17. Travel Risks

  • Travel may expose you to:
    • Weather events, civil unrest, petty crimes
    • Health risks, transportation delays, infrastructure limitations
  • By booking, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

18. Trip Plan Changes

  • Itineraries, accommodations, meals, transport, or activities may change due to:
    • Safety, availability, weather, government advisories
  • Dipaways reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel trips at its discretion.

19. Force Majeure

  • Dipaways is not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations—including running or delivering any trip, experience, or service—when such failure or delay is caused by events beyond our reasonable control. This includes but is not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, weather events, labor strikes, civil unrest, government actions, war, terrorism, travel restrictions, transportation disruptions, or any similar events that impact our ability to safely or feasibly operate.
  • In the event of a Force Majeure, Dipaways reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel any portion of your trip. While we will always strive to offer alternative solutions or future credit where possible, refunds are not guaranteed in these situations. By booking with Dipaways, you acknowledge and accept this limitation of liability.

20. Release of Liability

  • Dipaways works with independent third-party providers (transport, hotels, guides, restaurants).
  • Dipaways is not responsible for their acts, omissions, or negligence.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, waive, and hold harmless Dipaways, its owner(s), employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, and representatives from any liability, claims, demands, damages, injuries, losses, delays, costs, or expenses that may arise in connection with your trip or use of our services—including those resulting from the actions or inactions of third-party providers. This includes, without limitation, claims related to personal injury, property damage, illness, theft, delay, force majeure events, or dissatisfaction with services provided.
  • By booking with Dipaways, you acknowledge and accept these terms.

21. Booking Changes & Cancellations

Traveler-Initiated Changes:

  • Changes allowed up to 90 days before departure (e.g., switch trips, transfer booking).
  • No guaranteed changes within 90 days of departure.

If You Cancel:

  • Within 14 days of booking → full refund or credit.
  • After 14 days → booking credit only
  • Within 90 days of trip → non-refundable and booking credit issued at our discretion (minus unrecoverable costs).

If We Cancel:

  • In rare cases, Dipaways may cancel. You will receive:
    • Full refund or credit.
  • We are not responsible for any additional costs (flights, visas, etc.).

Trip Credits:

  • Valid for 3 years (unless otherwise specified).
  • Transferable but not extendable, unless specified.
  • Courtesy credits expire in 2 years.

Refunds:

  • Processed within 30 days, longer if funds must be recovered from partners.
  • Refunds issued to original payment method where possible.

22. Photos, Videos & Marketing

  • By joining, you grant Dipaways and our trip partners a royalty-free, worldwide license to use trip photos/videos.
  • If you’d prefer we not use a specific photo/video, let us know.

23. Tipping & Gratuities

  • Tips are never expected but always appreciated.
  • You can leave tips via our website to avoid currency exchange issues.

24. Data Protection & Privacy

  • We collect only necessary personal details.
  • Data may be shared with partners to deliver services.
  • We never sell data.
  • Data is encrypted and purged when no longer needed. Read our full policy here.

25. Updates to These Terms

  • Terms may be updated at any time.
  • Revised versions override prior versions.
  • By continuing to book or use services, you accept updated terms.

26. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by California law.
  • Any disputes must be filed in San Diego, CA.
